Abstract

Objectives of this research were to: 1. To study the problem conditions of knowledge management 2. To study the level of knowledge management 3. To study the level of factors affecting the knowledge management and 4. To study the factors that affect the knowledge management. Methodology was the mixed methods, the qualitative, research, data were from 7 key informants who were administrators, lecturers and personnel who were involved with knowledge management, analyzing data by content analysis. The quantitative research collected data with from 630 samples who were administrators, academicians and administrative personnel by stratified sampling with questionnaires, analyzed data with percentile, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression.
Findings were as follows: 1. The state and problem of knowledge management found that the searching for knowledge had the request for suggestion from the scholars, study from documents , textbooks and electronics media. The problems were the financial support to the officers for knowledge development improperly to the demand. For the knowledge creation had created the documents, handbooks, textbooks and research works including the modern media production. The problem was the result of research that lacked of new knowledge which can be really applied. For the knowledge collection had the share of type and kind of knowledge data for search and usage. The problem was the lack of data system management for speedily searching ability. For the knowledge publication had the knowledge publications to external persons to know it such as articles, websites, journals , leaf , data base for publication. The problem was the cooperation in knowledge publication in the organization and other offices no overall. 2. The levels of opinions toward the knowledge management were at high level, 3. The opinion toward the factors affecting the knowledge management by overall were at high level and 4. Factors that affect the knowledge management were that evaluative factor (X7) knowledge management policy (X3), factor of leadership (X1), factor of technology (X6), factor of culture (X5) had affects to the knowledge management (Y) at the statistical significant level at 0.05 that can predict the factors affecting the knowledge management of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (Adjusted R2) 78.90 percent.
