Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to study professionally assertive behavior of the fourth year student and comparison assertive behavior between nursing students with GPA above 3.00 and GPA under 3.00 at boromarajoni college of nursing, Udonthani. All 229 participants were selected. Research tool was adapted from relevant questionnaires of the other researchers. The content validity was examined by experts. The reliability was tested, using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient as 0.86. Data were then analysed using descriptive ststistics and t-test The result of this study found that
1) The overall assertiveness result was evaluated as high level ( 3.65, SD 0.72). The results were identified in 5 component was evaluated as high level too ;including (1) Mode of communication ( 3.65 ,SD 0.72) (2) Mode of the use of right ( 3.74 ,SD 0.72) (3) Mode of self-control( 3.63 ,SD 0.64) (4) mode of independent ( 3.58 ,SD 0.78) and (5) Mode of responsibility ( 3.55 ,SD 0.82) 2) The comparison assertive behavior between the academic achievement nursing students with GPA above 3.00 and GPA under 3.00 was indicated that there was no significant (P>0.05)อย่างมีนัยสาคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
