Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the factors that affect achievement of students in bachelor of Arts Program in Political Science Department of Social Sciences Faculty in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, 2) to study the relationship of factors effecting on achievement of students in bachelor of Arts Program in Political Science Department of Social Sciences Faculty in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University and 3) to study the suggestions and approach the factors effecting achievement of students in bachelor of Arts Program in Political Science Department of Social Sciences Faculty in Mahachulalongkorn- rajavidyalaya University. This research is a survey research, which used the questionnaires with 400 sample out of 600 students who are studying at Mahachulalongkorn- rajavidyalaya University. The tool used for collecting data and analysis was frequency, percentage, median, Standard deviation, T-Test, One way analysis of variance and Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The findings of this research were as follows: The factors effect on Achievement of Students in Bachelor of Arts Program in Political Science Department of Social Sciences Faculty in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, in overall are at good level such as physiological factor, learning motivation, work motivation and attitude to political science. For the environmental factors such as material system of department, learning atmosphere, responsibility of lecturers and officers have the effect on Achievement of Students at the highest level are the ability to political science analysis, political science knowledge. For the effect on achievement are at high level such as satisfaction of knowledge and overall learning result respectively. The students who have the difference of gender, education, age and career, have the relationship to the factors effect on Achievement of Students in Bachelor of Arts Program in Political Science Department of Social Sciences Faculty in Mahachulalongkorn- rajavidyalaya University differently at statistical significance at 0.05 level but students who study the other campuses and have the difference of status and income, have the positive factors effect on Achievement of Students in Bachelor of Arts Program in Political Science Department of Social Sciences Faculty in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University indifferently. To relation of the physiological factors on motivation in leaning, working, attitude, Environment factor, administration Factors, learning atmosphere, lecturers responsibility have the effect on achievement of students in Bachelor of Arts Program in Political Science Department of Social Sciences Faculty with significantly statistics at 0.01 level.
