Abstract

          In the midst of faiths norms, traditions, and Mahãyãna Buddhist Cultures (Tantra Nikãya) and Hinduism, Anorathãmungchor is the first Burma king that combines and governs the men groups and all main land of Irrawaddy River. Now, He gets faith in Tharavãda Nikãya Buddhist and has already made a unique of religious faith and culture to Bagan Socity.

          Before Theravãda Nikãya Buddhist will spread to Bagan Kingdom, In-the former, Burmese are influenced by Mahãyãna Buddhist (Tantra Nikãya or Sect) when they have settlement at Yunnan in the southern part of China which by first time, this area belong to the region of influence of Mahãyãna (Tantra Nikãya), when Burmese have been moving down to the upper basin of Irrawaddy River and have influenced by Mahãyãna Buddhist (Tantra Nikãya) which spreads from the north of India passes by Bengal and come to the North of Burma in the Christ 10th  decade. In the time of Bagan, this Sangha Nikãya is called “Ãrĩ Nikãya Sangha” Gambhĩrasasanawangsa calls this group of Sangha “Samanakuttaka”, Later the Sanghas and Burmese look Ãrĩ Nikãya Sangha “The Ãrĩ Nikãya Sangha like to refuse the teaching of the Buddha and follow along with the line of themselves.

          Anorathãmangchor the king is indignant in the religion the people have given worship in that time which is the religion mingled with principle of Mahãyãna Buddhist (Tantra Nikãya) and gets afraid of the folklore Natural power namely worshipping of 36 Nats, So He has to resist power and repute of Ãrĩnikãya Sangha and all of Nats which He disagrees by managing both ghost and men, changing the status of Nats which the former is just for the ghost. The Soul, the faith, the transcendent sacred thing are raised up to be the Divine in Buddhist believing and appoints the Indra which belongs to the Divine in Buddhist to be the leader of 36 Nats, Then 37 of Nats are invited to set around Shwezigon Ceti (Pagoda) and conveys Tharavãda Nikãya Buddhist to destroy influence of Ãrĩnikãya Sangha by giving the order to Jinarahant processing a seminar in revising about the group of Sangha in Bagan for taking a strictly practicing of the Sangha in the Vinaya principle of Theravãdanikaya Buddhist and changes the believing that the king is hypothesis Deva governed as Devarãja to be governing as Dhammarãja and getting a conquer as called “Dhammavijaya”
