AN ANALYSIS OF ETHICAL BEHAVIORS IN THAI SOCIETY FROM THE LITERARY WORKS OF VIMOL SAINIMNUAL.

Abstract

This study was qualitative research regarding the ethics contained in the literary works of Vimol sainimnuan. The objectives of this research were 1) to study and analyze the ethical problems and the ethics of Thai society from the literary works and ๒) to find ways to solve the ethical problems of Thai society.

The results of this research showed that the four books - Ngoo, Khonsongjao, Jaopaendin, and Khokphranang, show Thai social problems – poverty, superstition, crime, justice and politics, as well as the behaviors that lead to the ethical problems – greed, sexual harassment, corruption, and gambling.

The suggestion from this research is that the thai government should find ways to solve the problems in Thai society and in the behaviors that lead to ethical problems in order that Thailand may experience peace
