Abstract

The objectives of this research were: To study the Effects of The Guidance Activity Program on Educational and Occupational Goal Setting for Mathayomsuksa Four Students at Hunkha Pittayakom School in Chai Nat. To
compare score results of developing educational and occupational Goal Setting of students who participated in the Effects of The Guidance Activity Program with control group students. This research was the quasi experimental research. The
populations were 184 students of Mathayomsuksa Four, Hunkha Pittayakom School in Chai Nat. The researcher asked 162 students to do the Educational and Occupational Goal Setting Test, representing 88 percent and then selected by
cluster sampling from two classes that scores were not different. Then random assignment was used; one was an experimental group and the other was control group. The research results indicated that: 1) the posttest scores from the
Educational and Occupational Goal Setting Test of the experimental group were higher than theirs pretest scores at .05 level of significance. 2) the posttest scores from the Educational and Occupational Goal Setting Test of the experimental group  were higher than posttest scores of the control group at .05 level of significance. 3) the experimental group reported that participating in The Guidance Activity Program helped them to increase their needs to Educational and Occupational Goal Setting.
