THE DEVELOPMENT OF MANAGEMENT ACCORDING TO IDDHIPADA DHAMMA IN SAMUT SAKHON COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the development of management according to Iddhipada Dhamma in Samut Sakhon community college, 2) to compare the pinion of students toward the development of management according to Iddhipada Dhamma in Samut Sakhon community college by classifying as individual factors and 3) to study the problems and suggestions of the development of management according to Iddhipada Dhamma in Samut Sakhon community college. The research methods were used the mixed research methodology of quantitative and qualitative research. The quantitative research was conducted by using survey research to study the samples of 236 persons who were students of Samut Sakhon community college by using the simple random sampling. The tools used for data collection were 5 levels questionnaires at reliability of 0.937. The data were analyzed by using computer application for social sciences research. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation. The describing and testing hypotheses of personal factors were t-test in order to test the differences between two average groups and the F-test by using One Way ANOVA to test the differences between the average of three or more and test the differences of the average pairing with the Scheffe’s method. And the quantitative research by In-depth Interview with the primary key informants and engaging content analysis context. The research findings were as followings: The development of management according to Iddhipada Dhamma in Samut Sakhon community college, was at a high level (= 4.60), when considered each aspect of the aspiration (Chanda), effort (Viriya), thoughtfulness (Citta) and reasoning (Vimam۬ sa) found that all aspects were at a high level.
The comparisons of student’s opinions towards the development of management according to Iddhipada Dhamma in Samut Sakhon community college were classified by gender, age, educational level and branch. It was found that the students who were different in educational level were different opinions by statistical significant at the 0.05 level. But for other aspect they were not different opinions. The problems and obstacles of the development of management according to Iddhipada Dhamma in Samut Sakhon community college were: 1) the students lack the knowledge about community college policies, 2) working of personnel do not accessible to the community, 3) the using of good governance do not cover and continuous, 4) monitoring and tracking the result of educational management do not continuous, 5) Training to increase efficiency for personnel do not cover in all aspect, 6) the process of improvement plan from suggestion were delay because the personnel has a lot of duties. The suggestions were: should have the knowledge management for community college, should have the training to increase efficiency for personnel in all aspect and should develop the improvement plan continuous.
