THE WORK PERFORMANCE OF MORAL TEACHING MONKS IN THE PRATHEAPWITTHAYATHAN SCHOOL, WIHANDAENG DISTRICT SARABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the work performamce of moral teaching monks in the Pratheapwitthayathan school, Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province, 2) to compare the work practice of moral teaching monks in the Pratheapwitthayathan school, Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province, 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions to the work practice of moral teaching monks in the Pratheapwitthayathan school, Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province... This research is the mixed research method. For the quantitative research is collected the data from the sampling group as the 322 out of 975 students in the Pratheapwitthayathan school ,Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province. The researcher had the data analysis through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation(S.D) one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) for testing the difference between the averages from three or more groups with LSD (Least Significant Different).and the qualitative research had the in-depth interview from 8 key informants by using the descriptive content analysis technique. The findings of this research as following : The students of Pratheapwitthayathan school, Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province,had the opinions to work practice of moral teaching monks in the Pratheapwitthayathan school, Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province in overall, was at good level (X= 4.00). The findings of opinion comparison of students to work performamce of moral teaching monks in the Pratheapwitthayathan school, Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province, classified by the personal status that found that the students had the difference of sex, age, education level, had the opinion in overall indifferently. It had significantly statistics at 0.05. It rejected the hypothesis. The problem and obstacle to work performamce of moral teaching monks in the Pratheapwitthayathan school , Wihandaeng district, Saraburi province, found that the moral teaching monks lack of transfer skill and no teaching techniques, no modern teaching media skill for teaching, lack of media production technology, lack of teaching media skill, and no motivation to students for more interesting learning and too much lecture, then students do not have the participation of activity and the content is very much that no matching with teaching and learning time. The classroom and environment are not suitable to education.
