it was found that 1) about 89.1% of layman students had very good knowledge and understanding towards the 12 core values, 10.9% had fair knowledge and understanding towards the 12 core values and 3.1% had poor knowledge and understanding towards the 12 core values. and 2) about 65.5% of monk students had very good knowledge and understanding towards the 12 core values, 21.5% had fair knowledge and understanding on this issue and 12.5% said they had poor knowledge and understanding on the 12 core values.

There are two major effective ways to promote the 12 core values among students: 1) to integrate the core values into classroom activities. Students must be encouraged to express their opinions in these edutainment activities. Teachers should explain the benefits of the core values, which should be instilled in the curriculum, to the students and invite the experts to share their knowledge on this issue. 2) to instill the core values in student-development activities, extra-curricular activities and school activities. Field trips are recommended because student will have an opportunity to meet people who could be their inspirational role models. a couple of training sessions should be conducted monthly in order to refresh knowledge on the core values and teachers should prepare teaching and learning tools regarding the 12 core values.
