AN APPROACH TO ADMINISTRATIVE MONKS PROBLEMS SOLUTION AT KHUKHARN DISTRICT, SRISAKET PROVINCE

The Objectives of this research were 1. To study the general condition of administrative monks’ problems solution at Khunharn District, Srisaket Province, 2. To study problems, obstacles and commendation for administrative monks’ problems solution at Khunharn District, Srisaket Province and 3. To study approaches to administrative monks’ problems solution at Khunharn District, Srisaket Province. Methodology was the mixed methods: Quantitative research collected data using open and close ended questionnaires with reliability score at 0.890 from 280 samples Analysis of the results by using computer program in social science. Statistics used in data analysis. Were Frequency and percentage mean, standard deviation, F test. One-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA). The qualitative research collected data from 14 key informants by in-depth-interviewing and analyzed data by descriptive interpretation.
Findings of the research were as follows:
- Monks’ opinions toward problems solution of administrative monks
At Khunharn District, Srisaket Province by overall were at high level with the average score at 3.49. Monks’ opinions toward administrative monks problems solving at Khunharn District, Srisaket Province, Aspects of abiding by rule and regulations were at high level with the average score at 3.59, rules and regulations according Dhamma, Vinaya were at 3.46 and the aspect that has least average score were the administration according the Sangha rules and regulations with the average score at 3.45
- Monks’ pinions comparison toward the approaches to administrative monks’ problems solution at Khunharn Dostrict, Srisaket Province, classified by personal factors were that monks with different ages, ordained years, formal education levels,had different opinions toward the approaches to administrative monks’ problems solutions at Khunharn District, Srisaket Province, at statistical significant level at 0.05. Only monks with different Dhamma and Pali educational levels did not have different opinions towards the approaches to administrative monks’ problems solution.
- Most of the problems of approaches to administrative monks’ problems
Solutions were that: lack of qualified monks for Sangha administration, High ranking monks did not command subordinates to perform according to the policies. High ranking make treated subordinates with bias, did not empower duties to monks and nopvices, lack of continuous attention and regular meetings.
Recommendation:
Approaches to administrative monks’ problems solution at Khunharn District, Srisaket Province were that, there should be administration according to the policies, treate subordinates equally, clear empowerment the work for novices and young monks, there should be close attention to the works and by holding regular meeting.
