LEADERSHIP IN SANGHA ADMINISTRATION OF SANGHA ADMINISTRATORS IN, BANGBAN DISTRICT, AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE

Objectives of this Research were: 1. To Study leadership in Sangha Administration of Sangha Administrators in Ayutthaya Province, 2. To Study Compare leadership in Sangha Administration of Adminisrtrative Monks at Bangban District, Ayutthaya Province Classified by Personal Factors and 3. To Study Problems, Obstacles and Recommendation for Leadership in Sangha Administration for Administrative Monks at Bangban District, Ayutthaya Province.
Methodology was the Mixed methods: The Quantitative Research Collected data from 155 samples Who were Monks at Bangban District, Ayutthaya Province by Questionnaires with Reliability Value at 0.956, Analyzed data with Frequency, Percentile, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-est, F-test, one way ANOVA for more than tree groups of variables and LSD in the cases of of the Pairs of variables were Different. The Qualitative Research Collected data from 8 key informants by in-depth-Interviewing and Analyzed data by Descriptive Interpretation.
Findings were as follows:
1.Monks’ opinions Towards the leadership in Sangha Administration of Sangha Administrators at Bangban District, Ayutthaya Province by Overall were at high level ( =4.13), each aspect was also at high level; leadership according to Jakkhuma, vision, was at =4.11,S.D.=0.639, leadership according to Vitoro, far sighted, was at =4.08, S.D =0.616, leadership according to Nissayasampanno, human realtions skill, was at =4.21 , S.D.=0.581
2.Opinions’ Comparison About the leadership in Sangha
Administration of Administrative Monks at Bangban District, Ayutthaya Province were that Monks with Different Ordained years, Administrative Ranks, formal Education and Dhamma and Pali Education levels did not have different opinions, denying the set Hypothesis with the Confidence level set at 0.05.
3.Problems, Obstacles and Recommendation for leadership
in Administration of Administrative Monks at Bangban District, Ayutthaya Province were that: Problems and Obstacles; Administrative Monks lacked Systematic Planning Knowledge, did not Understand Sangha Administration well enough, lack of target for Sangha Administration, lack of Systematic Division of work, working According the Plan, Monitoring the work, morale creation, good coordination and participation from various parties.
Recommendation: Administrative Monks Should Study the Rules and Regulations from Textbooks and Senior Monks, work According the set plan, Regular Meeting to Discuss the way to move the Plan to be Implemented. There should be Systematic Division of works and Regular Monitoring for Better Planning and Maintaining co-workers to have loyalty to the Organizations, Coordinating with other parts to have Regular Meeting and Recruiting right Personnel for the Better Service for the Whole Organizations.
