THE REVERSE OF THAI STYLE : A STUDY OF REFLECTIVE PICTURE OF THAI IDENTITY BY VOCABURARIES AND IDIOMS

Abstract

This research aims; 1) to study words and idioms reflecting the Buddhism  identity  2) to study the words and idioms that reflect the traditions 3) to study the words and idioms that shows Thai arts identity 4) to study the words and idioms that reflect   agricultural identity

This research is qualitative methods to study descriptive analysis. The population is a document example Document Textbook Lexitron Dietionary Encyclopedia Select Vocabulary  and Thai idioms that reflect  religion, tradition, Thai arts and the agriculture identity

Result that Thai identity in Buddhism have plenty of words and idioms such as Won Thammasawana Bunpacha and Uposombot Idioms such as Pidthonghangpha, Sonhungsueprasungkarad and Chuchangchedeechangsung ect. Reflecting identity of tradition the words such as Sinsod Thongman and Songkran the idioms such as  Khaomai Plaman  Khotamtrok-Oaktampratu Khontraykhowad ect. The identity the fine arts such as  Bunchcharong, Ruenkaw and Maisipsong The Idioms such as  Klukkletemong Penpepenkhue and Raumaidethospethoskhong ect.  And the reflect   from  agricultural identity such as  Khachue  Khanheaw and Khawtu Idioms such as  Khaodangklangron. Khaohewklieium  and  Khaonongna ect.
