The Quality of Work Life of Private Organization Employees

Abstract
The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to study the personal factors affecting the quality of work life of private organization employees; 2) to study the factors related to the quality of work life of private organization employees; and 3) to predict the factors affecting the quality of work life of private organization employees. A sample group consisted of people in the area of Siam Square, Jatujak and Pratunam in a total of 600 persons, obtained by means of simple random sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires. The statistics used for content analysis were percentage, chi-square test, and multiple linear regression. From the study, it is found as follows: 1) The personal factors affecting the quality of work life are education level and income level; 2) The factors related to the quality of work life are the satisfaction towards work, mental health, organizational culture, economic status, working environment. All of which are have a statistically significant correlation at the .05 level; and 3) The factors predicting the quality of work life are satisfaction towards work, mental health, organizational culture, economic status, working environment.
