The objectives of this research article are: 1) to study and analyze the practical way of carrying on the faith in Buddhism of the Buddhists in the Union of Myanmar, 2) to analyze the factors of the faith in Buddhism of the Buddhists in the Union of Myanmar, 3) to present the pattern of the continuing way of the faith in the Buddhism of the Buddhist in the Union of Myanmar. It is a field-work qualitative research. The ways of research are documentary study, focus group and the in-depth interview. There are 6 groups of key informants totaling 30 interviewees.
From the research, it is found the followings:Burmese people have a way of carrying on the Faith strictly. In the teaching of Buddha, to be strict in the tradition and to maintain strictly tradition and morals. Factors of cause the Faith in Buddhism of the Buddhists in Myanmar are remained firmly up to the present day is the belief according to the Dhamma “Faith” in the Religious Book of Theravada Buddhism. The model of carrying on the way of the Faith in Buddhism of the Buddhist in Myanmar is the ultimate goal or aim to be Nirvana and continued from generation to generation or from grandparents to grandchildren to faith in the same goal. There is also a system of monks who are spiritual leaders, promote the education, the praying, to be able to remember all of the Tripitaka and when the kinsman had a way to study and remember the Tripitaka The innovation from this research is model of the maintain of the Faithful path of the Buddhist in Myanmar through the way of Dhamma. It is the ultimate goal of Buddhists in the Myanmar is Nirvana. Through the practice of family institutions is a Buddhist family that can cultivate and forward the Faith in the Buddhist way from generation to generation. There is a mechanism to drive through the Dharma way led by monks. Is a kind of consolation Give knowledge and intelligence And develop further through social mechanisms And culture is a mental bonding causing wisdom and has a beautiful mind.
