PERSONAL FINANCIAL PLANNING OF PEOPLE IN UDON THANI PROVINCE AFTER COVID-19 RESTRICTION

Abstract

This research article aimed to study the level of opinions about personal financial planning, to compare Personal financial planning behavior classified by demographic characteristics, and to study factors of the personal financial planning influencing on financial planning behavior of people in Udon Thani Province after COVID-19 restriction. The research model was quantitative research and used questionnaires for instrument research. The samples were 400 people who have jobs in Udon Thani Province. The sample size was determined according to Taro Yamane and used non-probability sampling by accidental sampling. The statistics used in the analysis were mean, standard deviation, One-Way ANOVA and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. The result of the study found People who have jobs in Udon Thani Province generally have opinions about personal financial planning and engage in it at a high level. Demographics such as gender, age, education, marital status, and income vary also affects different financial planning behaviors as well. Three key factors influence personal financial planning : Financial Attitude, Perception of information, Knowledge about financial planning. The all 3 factors are all the positive, at significance level 0.01. The results can be used to set financial goals. Increasing income and controlling expenses effectively to the additional savings and investments to cover all the payments in retirement. and reduce the risk of various problems that cannot be controlled in the future.
