EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT MODEL TO PROMOTE VOCATIONAL SKILLS ACCORDING TO SPATIAL CONTEXT OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AT BAN MAE LUI SCHOOL MAE HONG SON PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this article are 1) to examine the context and determine the elements for promoting vocational skills, 2) to develop an educational management model, 3) to evaluate the management model, and 4) to explore the level of satisfaction in promoting vocational skills according to the spatial context of primary school students at Ban Mae Lui School, Mae Suat Subdistrict, Sop Moei District, Mae Hong Son Province. It is mixed-method research that studies the 4M management concept and the PDCA cycle as the research framework. The sample group is 15 experts in education management and 180 school committees, teachers, parents, and students used a specific selection method. There are 3 research tools: 1) interview form, 2) questionnaire, and 3) estimation form, and data are analyzed using statistics, percentage, frequency, mean, and standard deviation.

           The research findings reveal that; 1) The research findings for objective number 1, found that the school has problems in managing education for promoting vocational skills in policy setting, strategic plans, operational guidelines and qualitative management. 2)The research findings for objective number 2, found that the educational management model is a systematic management process consisting of input, process, output and quality management cycle system. 3) The research findings for objective number 3, found that the management pattern evaluation results were at a high level. 4) The research findings for objective number 4, found that the level of satisfaction from the results of promoting career skills was at a high level. New knowledge from this research is useful in developing an educational management model to promote holistic occupational skills in remote areas by adopting the P D C A qualitative management approach, aiming at giving students the ability to listen, read and write, mathematical skills, think, analyze, and implement student care assistance systems by community participation.
