The Effect of Supply Internal Control on Procurement Efficiency for Public Higher Education Institutions in Thailand

This research aimed to study the effect of supply internal control on procurement efficiency for public higher education institutions in Thailand. It was a quantitative research with a population of 249 people. The sample group was 154 administrators at public higher education institutions in Thailand. Using the criteria for determining sample size according to Taro Yamane's formula, classified according to affiliated agencies. And used the stratified sampling method. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was between 0.904 and 0.951. Statistical techniques were multiple correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.
The results of the research showed that supply internal control in term purchasing, contract administration, inventory control, and disposal affects overall procurement efficiency with statistical significance at the .05 level.
