Football Audience Knowledge and Attitude to Video Assistant Referee System for Live Television Broadcast of Toyota Thai League 2020

This research aims to (1) studied demographic information, Video Assistant Referee System knowledge and Toyota Thai League 2020 audience’s attitude. (2) compared the difference between demographic information that affected Toyota Thai League 2020 audience’s attitudes (3) compared knowledge levels towards Video Assistant Referee System that affected Toyota Thai Football League audiences. This research is quantitative research which the samples were selected from 400 Toyota Thai Football Leagues 2020 audiences. The instrument used were questionnaires using percentage, means, standard deviation and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of the study were as follows: 1. Most of the respondents had a high level of attitudes towards Video Assistant Referee Systems of Toyota Thai League 2020; means at 4.16, standard deviation at 0.961. The Video Assistant Referee System is the most important equipment to assist the referee; means at 4.51, standard deviation at 0.759. While the least amount was the period of using Video Assistant Referee System; mean at 3.36, standard deviation at 1.332. 2.The difference from the comparison of demographic information affected the audiences of Toyota Thai League 2020 through television broadcast divided into 2 hypotheses. It found that aged and education background affected significantly to Video Assistant Referee System at .05 statistic level. 3. The comparison of knowledge levels towards Video Assistant Referee System affected Toyota Thai League 2020 audience’s attitudes from television broadcast. It founds that the difference of knowledge levels significantly affected to the audience’s attitude towards Video Assistant Referee at .05 statistic level.
