Abstract

          Objectives 1) To develop the curriculum, strengthen the capacity of volunteers to take care of the disabled. 2) To enhance the capacity of caregivers of the disabled. 3) To propose policy guidance. Develop courses to strengthen the capacity of volunteers to care for the disabled to the public. Using qualitative research methods. Research and development forms are divided into 3 phases. Tools used in research; Group discussion, participatory observation, structured interview, data analysis by content analysis. The research found that

          Phase 1 of the curriculum development phase to strengthen the capacity of 4 steps: (1) Study basic information on curriculum development, capacity building, volunteer care for disabled people. Found that the persons involved are in need of curriculum development. (2) Creating a curriculum consisting of Determination of objectives, content, learning management activities and Monitoring and evaluation. (3) Try the course Bring the curriculum to trial with 10 caregivers of disabled people from Chaiyaphum Special Education Center to train for 14 hours. (4) Evaluating and improving the curriculum, found that caregivers with disabilities have good knowledge and skills, good attitudes, good attitudes, reduced training time, increased time to take care of the disabled in the family and flexible training facilities as appropriate.
