Abstract

The article of “Geo-information technology and Geo-literacy” has become an important part in economics, health, environments and educations. Applied Geo-Informatics, in spatial data, is used to support spatial data analysis and managements. Geographical education management represented by Geo-Technology as a spatial information tool for understanding the phenomenal, natural and interaction between humans and environments on the earth. The content of the article includes: 1. Knowledge of Geo-Information Technology        2. Geo-Literacy 3. Geo-Information Technology and Geo-Literacy 4. The importance of Geo-Information Technology and Geo-Literacy

         Geo-information Technology comprises three categories: Remote Sensing (RS), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Geographic Information System (GIS). The knowledge of geography is education management for understanding natural phenomena that requires knowledge, skills and geographic processes. Geographic Information Technology is a tool that helps understand the process of geographic knowledge which is important for data analysis and managements.
