Developing the Academic Administration Guidelines to Enhance Students’ Innovation Skills of the Design Department of the Art College Guangxi University, China

บทคัดย่อ

     The objectives of this research were 1) to investigate the problems and needs of the academic administration guidelines to enhance students’ innovation skills, and 2) to develop the academic administration guidelines to enhance students’ innovation. The samples consisted of 284 students and 28 teachers. The research instruments were questionnaires. The statistics were frequency, mean and standard deviation. The research findings indicated that: 1) the problems and needs to improve the students' innovation ability were at a high level, and 2) the academic administration guidelines to enhance students’ innovation skills comprised (1) deep integration of design theory and practice, (2) flexible curriculum and personalized development (3) innovative teaching resources and technical support, (4) interdisciplinary cooperation and projects, (5) development and application of assessment mechanisms, (6) teacher-student interaction and feedback mechanisms, (7) practical projects and deepening industry cooperation, (8) overcoming the fear of failure and fostering a culture of Innovation. The academic administration guidelines were applicable to enhance the innovation skills of university students.
