การรับรู์เสียงพยัญชนะท้ายภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์การรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะท้ายภาษาอังกฤษ ได้แก่ เสียงเสียดแทรก /f, v, T, D, s, z, S, Z/ เสียงกักเสียดแทรก /tS, dZ/ และเสียงข้างลิ้น /l/ กลุ่มตัวอย่างในงานวิจัยนี้ คือ นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี จำนวน 350 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูลเป็นคำศัพท์ที่มีเสียงพยัญชนะท้ายเป็นเสียงเสียดแทรก เสียงกักเสียดแทรก และเสียงข้างลิ้น จำนวน 33 คำ ผู้วิจัยเก็บข้อมูลโดยให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างฟังเสียงคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ ซึ่งพูดโดยชาวต่างชาติที่พูดภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาแม่ จากนั้นให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างเลือกตอบในแบบสอบถามว่าเสียงที่ได้ยินเป็นคำใดในภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อพิจารณาว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะท้ายในภาษาอังกฤษซึ่งไม่มีในภาษาไทยได้ถูกต้องหรือไม่ ผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลแสดงให้เห็นว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะท้ายภาษาอังกฤษได้อย่างถูกต้องมากกว่าร้อยละ 50 เสียงพยัญชนะท้ายภาษาอังกฤษที่สามารถรับรู้เสียงได้อย่างถูกต้องมากที่สุด คือ เสียงพยัญชนะท้าย/z/ (ร้อยละ 95.4) และเสียงพยัญชนะท้ายภาษาอังกฤษที่สามารถรับรู้เสียงได้อย่างถูกต้องน้อยที่สุด คือ เสียงพยัญชนะท้าย/D/ (ร้อยละ 53.4) รูปแปรของเสียงพยัญชนะท้ายภาษาอังกฤษที่ปรากฏเมื่อกลุ่มตัวอย่างรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะท้ายภาษาอังกฤษไม่ถูกต้อง ได้แก่ รูปแปร [t, p, n, N, w, d, 2] งานวิจัยนี้แสดงให้เห็นว่าความแตกต่างระหว่างเสียงในภาษาแม่และภาษาเป้าหมายมีอิทธิพลต่อการรับรู้
