Abstract

This Article aimed to study (1) to develop a model for Development of a virtual mentoring system and (2) to try out a model for Development of a virtual mentoring system for universities and schools in the Western Regional Education Sandbox To strengthen teachers' ability to use digital learning technology. The study used a mixed method, approach used the Research and development (R&D) methodology. The conceptual framework was based on the principles of virtual mentoring and digital technology competency. The study research was conducted in a school of the Western Regional Education Sandbox in Kanchanaburi Province. The participants included 25 teachers, selected through by purposive sample design. The research results were found as follows;


  1. A virtual mentoring system for universities and schools in the Western Regional Education Sandbox To strengthen teachers' ability to use digital learning technology was evaluates at a very good level (Mean = 4.68, S.D. = 0.07). The system comprised 5 key components: (1) mentor roles, (2) mentee roles, (3) the virtual mentoring system, (4) online learning tools, and (5) assessment and evaluation.

  2. The implementation of Development of a virtual mentoring system for universities and schools in the Western Regional Education Sandbox To strengthen teachers' ability to use digital learning technology has higher post-test scores compared with pre-test scores.
