Main Article Content
Abstract
This article aimed to study 1) the goodness of fit of the structural equation modeling of adaptive leadership of educational administrators influencing teacher innovator in schools under the Primary Educational Service Area Office Udonthani 2, 2) the influence of adaptive leadership of school administrators on teacher innovator, and 3) the development of guidelines for enhancing adaptive leadership of school administrators that affect teacher innovator. This research employed a mixed-methods approach divided into two phases. Phase 1 used a quantitative method with a parameter-to-sample size ratio of 1:15, resulting in a sample of 120 schools. Data were collected from 240 participants, including school administrators and teachers, using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The structural equation model was analyzed using statistical software. Phase 2 employed a qualitative method using semi-structured interviews as the research instrument, and the data were analyzed through content analysis. The proposed development guidelines were subsequently evaluated. The research results were found as follows:
- The structural equation model of adaptive leadership of school administrators affecting teacher innovation demonstrated goodness of fit with the empirical data.
- Adaptive leadership of school administrators had both total and direct positive influences on teacher innovation, explaining 86.6% of the variance in teacher innovation.
- The guidelines for developing adaptive leadership of school administrators that affect teacher innovation in schools under the Primary Educational Service Area Office Udonthani 2 consisted of four dimensions: (1) collaboration building through joint activities; (2) holistic vision; (3) personal knowledge management; and (4) cultural competence.
