Development of Online Educational Supervision for Early Childhood Education through MOOC-Based Learning to Address Changing Situations

Abstract
This article has objectives: 1) To develop online lessons for online supervision of early childhood education management through MOOC learning format 2) To evaluate online supervision of early childhood education management to respond to changing situations through MOOC learning format. The research process was divided into 3 steps: preparation, creation, and quality verification of lessons. The sample group consisted of early childhood teachers under the Office of Primary Educational Service Area Nakhon Ratchasima Zone 5, totaling 208 institutions with 379 teachers selected through purposive sampling, and 7 experts. The research instruments included: open-ended questionnaires regarding problems, needs for assistance, and recommendations about early childhood education management to respond to changing situations for early childhood teachers, and lessons in MOOC format. Data analysis was conducted using mean ( ) and standard deviation (S.D.) and content analysis. Research Results
Results according to objective 1 found that online supervision consisted of 5 dimensions with 30 development issues, and MOOC lessons with 3 modules: mixed-age education, focus on learning, and diverse assessment. Each module had 8 components: title, number of learning hours, unit description, learning objectives, content, media and learning resources, measurement and evaluation, and assignments. Results according to objective 2 found that online supervision had a high level of quality evaluation results for MOOC lessons and could create a quality online supervision system to enhance the effectiveness of early childhood teacher professional development in the digital age.
Knowledge from this research can be applied as guidelines for developing an effective online supervision system for early childhood teachers in the digital age. The important reason is to help solve the problem of teacher professional development in changing situations.
