Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to: (1) synthesize the components of digital technology-based administration (2) develop and validate a digital administrative model; (3) implement the developed model to improve student outcomes; (4) evaluate the effectiveness of the digital administration model. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, consisting of four phases: (1) synthesis of administrative components; (2) model development and validation; (3) implementation of the model with 2,008 students and teachers; (4) evaluation by a sample of 424 stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and school board members. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows:
1) The synthesized model consisted of five main components, 14 sub-components, and 66 administrative indicators.
2) The developed model, referred to as DTDDP; Digital Leadership (D), Technology Integration (T), Data-Driven Decision Making (D), Digital Communication (D), and Professional Development (P). The model and its accompanying manual were deemed appropriate by experts.
3) Implementation of the model led to improvements in student academic performance, higher O-NET scores, enhanced desirable characteristics, and increased graduation rates for Grade 9 and Grade 12 students; and the model received the highest ratings in terms of appropriateness, feasibility, and usefulness.
