Abstract

This article aims to 1) develop a yoga learning animation for children using artificial intelligence-based motion capture (AI Mocap), and 2) evaluate the user satisfaction with the developed yoga learning animation. The research design is developmental research. The study was conducted with Grade 1 students at Ban Thewan School, Tha Luang Subdistrict, Trakan Phuet Phon District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The target group consisted of 10 students, selected through convenience sampling. The research tools included: 1) a yoga learning animation video for children, 2) a media quality assessment form using a 5-point Likert scale, and 3) an observation log and informal interview form. Quantitative data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation, and qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis. The research findings revealed that;

  1. The developed yoga learning media, produced using AI-based motion capture (AI Mocap), is a 3D animated video featuring six yoga poses for children. The total duration of the video is 6 minutes and 44 seconds, and its quality was rated as good.

  2. Students showed satisfaction with the learning media through their attention and participation in the practice sessions. They also expressed interest in further learning through animation-based media.

The key finding of this research is that AI motion capture enhances the quality of 3D animation teaching media for children and that 3D animation effectively stimulates children's interest and engagement.
