The Development of Motion Infographic Learning Materials to Enhance Thai Literature Achievement and Happiness in learning for Prathomsuksa 6 Students

Abstract

This research aims to 1) develop and evaluate motion infographic learning materials
to enhance Thai literature achievement and happiness in learning, with the expected efficiency level of good or higher. 2) To compare Thai literature achievement of Prathomsuksa 6 students before and after studying. And 3) to study the level of happiness in learning of Prathomsuksa 6 students after studying with motion infographic learning materials. The participants in this study consisted of 6 Prathomsuksa 6 students from Wat Thung Benja School, Tha Mai district, Chanthaburi, who were enrolled in second semester of 2023 academic year. Students were selected from a randomly chosen school. The research instruments included: 1) motion infographic learning materials, 2) Thai literature’s lesson plans: Khun Chang Khun Phaen, The Birth of Phlai Ngam, 3) Thai literature achievement tests and 4) happiness in learning questionnaires. The statistical methods used for data analysis were mean (M), standard deviation (SD), relative growth score, and content analysis.


The research found that:


1) The motion infographic learning materials were in the efficiency level of the best which was higher than the specified criterion. 2) The Thai literature achievement of Prathomsuksa 6 students after studying through the materials was higher than before with an average relative growth score of 51.50, a high level of development. and 3) motion infographic learning materials promoted students’ happiness in learning in 4 aspects: learner aspect, teacher aspect, learning management aspect, and atmosphere aspect.
