Abstract

 This research 1) studied and analyzed government policies on promoting electric vehicles for improving the quality of life of Bangkok residents, 2) studied the factors that demand electric vehicle use for improving the quality of life of Bangkok residents, and 3) proposed a guideline for electric vehicle business models for improving the quality of life of Bangkok residents. The researcher determined the qualitative research method by conducting in-depth interviews with 12 key informants, including executives from the automotive industry parliament, electric vehicle industry operators, and consumers who use electric vehicles. The data was collected from activity participants.


The research results Electric vehicle development in Bangkok continues to expand, driven by supportive government policies, technological advancements, and public environmental awareness. Key factors influencing EV adoption include economics, infrastructure, technology, and consumer attitudes. Furthermore, it has been found that EV use positively impacts people's quality of life in multiple dimensions, including health, household economics, the environment, and daily life. This can be summarized as a model for EV business development to enhance quality of life, encompassing four key components: infrastructure development, increased public access, business innovation, and sustainable development.
