Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed 1) to enhance and develop the Instructional model to promote Reading Comprehension through the DR-TA and Cooperative Learning on the criterion of 80/80. 2) to compare reading comprehension before and after learning with the instructional model, and 3) to study the satisfaction towards the developed instructional model. The statistics used to analyze data were percentage, average, standard deviation, and t-test dependent statistics. The samples were the second-year Computer and Educational Technology students from Education of Faculty, Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University. They were selected through purposive sampling. The instruments for collecting data were 1) the Instructional model to promote Reading Comprehension through the DR-TA and Cooperative Learning, 2) the pre-post reading comprehension tests, and 3) the questionnaires to investigate satisfaction.
The research results showed that 1) the efficiency of the Instructional Reading Comprehension model was at a good level, 2) the students’ reading comprehension achievement after using the developed teaching model was significantly higher at the 0.01 level and 3) the students’ satisfaction towards the Instructional reading comprehension model was at the high level.
