Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to examine the level of academic administration,
2) to investigate the factors that influence academic administration, and 3) to develop a predictive equation for the factors influencing academic administration in schools under the jurisdiction of the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample included 313 school administrators and teachers under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 for the academic year 2024, selected through stratified random sampling based on school size. The research tool was questionnaire, with a content validity of 1.00 and overall reliability of 0.969. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that:

  1. The overall level of academic administration was high, with all aspects rated at a high level. The highest average was in the area of curriculum development.

  2. The factors influencing academic administration were also rated at a high level, with the highest average found in the factor of school-community relationships.

  3. The factors of school administrators (X1), teachers (X2), and budget (X3) significantly influenced academic administration at the .05 level. The multiple correlation coefficient between these factors and academic administration was 0.663, explaining 43.90% of the variance. The prediction equations can be formulated in terms of raw scores and standardized scores as follows. = 1.967+.174X3+.177X1+.201X2 and y = .236X3+.271X1+.264X2
