The Development of Learning Packet of Biology subject Based on Design Thinking Integrated with Place-Based Learning Approaches for Promote Systematic System Thinking Skills and Attitudinal Environmental Aspect for the Eleventh-grade students
Main Article Content
Abstract
This Article aimed to study 1) to develop and verify efficiencies of learning packet of biology subject based on Design Thinking integrated with Place based learning approaches 2) to study achievement the students, before and after learning packet, 3) to study students' systems thinking skills before, during, and after studying by using a learning packet, and 4) to study development of Attitudinal Environmental aspect by using a learning packet. Research is a type of research and development. The samples were 29 eleventh grade students in the 1st semester of academic year 2024. They were selected by Sample random sampling, the instrument for collecting data was 1) the learning packet of biology subject that the researcher developed, 2) Lesson plans 3) Test to measure systematic thinking skills 4) Systematic thinking behavior observation assessment and 5) Attitudinal Environmental aspect assessment. The data was analyzed using arithmetic mean, percentage, standard deviation and dependent t-test (Dependent Samples t–test) with statistically significant at .05 level
The research results were found as follows; 1) The learning packet of biology subject that the researcher developed Including Volume 1: Unbelievable Plant tissue Story. Volume 2: Deciphering the Food Transport Company of Plants; Volume 3: The Miracle of the Plant Body; and Volume 4: The Plant Kitchen. The efficiency values were 82.45/80.69, 82.31/81.03, 82.15/80.69, and 82.39/81.72, respectively. Has a total average efficiency value of 81.16/80.71. 2) The biology achievement has the mean score after studying was higher than before studying with statistically significance at the .05 level. 3) Higher systematic thinking skills after studying than before studying with statistically significant at the .05 level, and there has been an improvement from a fair level to a good level respectively, and 4) Learners' Environmental Attitudes develop while studying using the learning packet of biology subject that the researcher developed from fair level to good level.
