Abstract

This research article to study 1) produce cooperative learning media, 2) evaluate the characteristics of cooperative learning media, 3) evaluate cooperative learning behavior, 4) evaluate academic achievement before and after studying cooperative learning media production, and
5) evaluate satisfaction with cooperative learning media production to develop frontal brain skills for early childhood education students. It is a quantitative and qualitative research. The target group used in the research was purposively selected: 58 first-year early childhood education students, Surindra Rajabhat University, academic year 2023. There were 5 research instruments: 1) cooperative learning media, 2) media characteristics evaluation form, 3) cooperative learning behavior evaluation form, 4) academic achievement test, and 5) satisfaction evaluation form for cooperative learning media production. The research results found that 1) cooperative learning media to develop frontal brain skills consisted of 7 sets, 2) the evaluation results of cooperative learning media characteristics were at a high level overall, 3) the evaluation results of cooperative learning behavior were at the highest level overall, and 4) the evaluation results of academic achievement before and after studying cooperative learning media production were at a high level. There was a statistically significant difference at the .01 level, with the academic achievement scores after studying being higher than before studying, and 5) the results of the evaluation of satisfaction with the production of cooperative learning media were found to be at a high level. The research results can be applied to future teaching and learning. The media has appropriate properties. Students have developed cooperative learning behavior skills and have higher academic achievement before and after studying.
