The Development of Learning Achievement on Principle of Language of Prathomsuksa 6 Students by Using Inquiry Approach and Graphic Organizer

Abstract
This article aims 1) to compare the academic achievement of Thai language principles of Grade 6 students before and after learning using the inquiry-based teaching method combined with graphic organizers, and 2) to study the opinions of Grade 6 students toward the inquiry-based teaching method combined with graphic organizers. The research design was a quantitative research. The sample consisted of 39 Grade 6/2 students of Kasetsart Demonstration School, Kamphaeng Saen, in the second semester of the academic year 2023. The cluster sampling method was used, using the classroom as the random unit. The research instruments were 1) learning management plan, 2) academic achievement test, and 3) student opinion questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using a pre-experimental research design, a single group pre-test and post-test experimental design. The statistics used for data analysis were mean (M), standard deviation (SD), and univariate group t-test.
The research results found that
1. The academic achievement in Thai language principles of Grade 6 students after organizing learning using the inquiry-based teaching method combined with the use of graphic organizers was significantly higher than before organizing learning at the statistical level of .05.
2. The opinions of Grade 6 students towards organizing learning using the inquiry-based teaching method combined with the use of graphic organizers were overall at the level of highly agreeing.
