Guidelines for Creating Competitive Advantages for Success of Integrated Circuit Industry Business Entrepreneurs in Bangkok and Metropolitan Region

Abstract
The objectives of this research are to: 1) study the business environment of integrated circuit industry business in Bangkok and metropolitan region; 2) examine the characteristics and capabilities of entrepreneurs in the integrated circuit industry business in Bangkok and metropolitan region; and 3) explore guidelines for creating competitive advantages for success of integrated circuit industry business entrepreneurs in Bangkok and metropolitan region. Qualitative research gathers data from document analysis, non-participatory observations, in-depth interviews, as well as group discussions among executives, managers, employees within companies and industry experts in the field of integrated circuit industry in Bangkok and metropolitan region, totaling 30 individuals, then, it is used to draw conclusions through content analysis and recommendations, referring theories and organizing data.
The research results find that: (1) the business environment consists of 1) streamlined and efficient work processes, 2) development of new technology and innovation, 3) products that can add value to the organization, 4) work safety, 5) up-to-date technology and innovation, 6) on-time delivery of goods, 7) unique innovation compared to competitors, 8) production cost management, and
9) distinctive business management perspectives. (2)the characteristics and capabilities of entrepreneurs include 1) modern technology and innovation, 2) streamlined and efficient processes, 3) business networking, 4) understand customer needs, 5) creative thinking, 6) development of new technology and innovation, and 7) personnel with diverse skills. (3)guidelines for creating competitive advantages include 1) streamlined and efficient work processes, 2) development of new technology and innovation, 3) products that can add value to the organization metropolitan region.
