The Development of Ethnic Tourism of Lao Khrang and Lao Wiang in Nakhon Pathom province through Language and Culture

Abstract
This Article aimed to study (1) the language use, attitudes towards language, culture, tradition, ethnic tourism management, and ethnic traditional products and (2) guidelines and a model of ethnic tourism development through the language and culture of Lao Khrang and Lao Wiang in Nakhon Pathom. The quantitative research used the concepts of linguistics, ethnic tourism, product value addition, and marketing as a conceptual framework and presented by descriptive statistics. The 60 informants, who were members of Lao Khrang and Lao Wiang in Nakhon Pathom, were collected through random sampling. The data were collected through questionnaires and focus groups, and analyzed with Descriptive statistics and Content Analysis. The research results were found as follows;
1. Most of the Lao Khrang and Lao Wiang ethnic groups were still able to speak their languages well, and they used their ethnic languages only to family members. For attitudes towards language, most of them want their children to be able to speak their ethnic languages, including wanting to preserve them for their children. Moreover, they would like their children to learn and continue to use their Lao Khrang and Lao Wiang forever.
2. The guidelines and creation of a model for the ethnic tourism development through the language and culture of the Lao Khrang and Lao Wiang ethnic groups in Nakhon Pathom, key successful factors were that community members must cooperate, brainstorm, implement, and receive reasonable benefits.
The knowledge of this research can be applied to the teaching and learning development of knowledge integration: languages and cultures, product development, and ethnic tourism management. In addition, It can also be implemented to create ethnic tourism management as well as ethnic product development to lead to the earning of sustainable income.
