Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study the mathematical concept after learning, and 2) to study the mathematics learning achievement on quadrilateral of grade 5th students after learning promoting knowledge and concept compared to the 60 percent criterion. Target Group was 6 grade 5th students in the second semester of the academic year 2021. The research instruments consisted of 1) lesson plans, 2) mathematical concept test on quadrilateral, and 3) a mathematics learning achievement test on quadrilateral. The data were analyzed by using percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation.

The results showed that 1) the mathematical concept after learning was very good for 50 percent, good for 33.33 percent and medium for 16.67 percent. and 2) the mathematics learning achievement on quadrilateral of grade 5th students after learning was statistically higher than the 60 percent. The average score was 75.85 percent of the total score.
