Abstract

This qualitative research aims to 1. Study the management of the learning center according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy and 2. Study the conditions and processes to drive success of being a learning center according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy in education in educational institutions under the Southern Border Provinces Primary Educational Service Area Office of Thailand divided into 2 The steps are as follows: Step 1. Literature review from relevant documents and research to determine interview topics 2. In-depth interviews with 35 key informants. The research tool was a semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed by Colaizzi’s content analysis. The results showed that 1. Management of the learning center according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy in education has 3 aspects as follows: 1. Curriculum driving by introducing the philosophy of sufficiency economy into educational institutions in the learning subject group. 2. Learning activities and learner development activities 3. Learning-based activities 2. Conditions affecting the success of the learning center according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy consisted of 2 main conditions, 4 secondary conditions, 11 sub-conditions and 3 issues. Introducing the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to drive in schools. Step 2. Organizing a learning system. Step 3. Organizing school activities and student development activities. Step 4. Change behavior and way of life. Step 5 Networking and expanding results.
