Sports Management to Promote Tourism in Thailand

Abstract
This study aimed to 1) study the management of sports to promote tourism in Thailand, 2) study factors affecting sports management to promote tourism in Thailand and 3) to approach sports management to promote tourism in Thailand. This is a questionnaire based quantitative and qualitative study of 400 people in random communities and in-depth interviews with 20 people.
The result showed all variables predict the result of sports management to promote tourism in Thailand with 89% confidence intervals. Factors that affect the tourism are 1) promote sport organizations 2) strengthening sport networks and 3) high level of athlete performance and sport referee. Guidance to sports management to promote tourism including 1) promote high quality athlete and 2) sport policy is a tangible practice. Sports management planning must be denoted to encourage people doing exercise and support to participate sport activities to promote tourism in Thailand
