The Components of Inspirational Leadership of School Administrators Under the Office of the Basic Education Commission

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the components of Inspirational leadership of  school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. The process of this research was 2 steps 1) Study the related paper’s amount of 14 documents and synthesize the component of Inspirational leadership of school administrators. 2) Confirm the component of Inspirational leadership of school administrators according to the framework synthesized from the documents and the advice of
5 qualified persons. The research tools were the document analysis form and interview form Data were analyzed by content analysis.


The result indicated that there are 5 components of inspirational leadership of school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. 1) Visionary, which school administrators must have the courage to give themselves the opportunity to learn new things ready to accept the changes that occur targeted and disseminating the vision 2) Trust, that school administrators have the ability to manage be honest, keep your word, and know how to honor and respect others 3) Enthusiasm, school administrators are attentive and committed to doing the job as soon as they are assigned and always study and seek knowledge 4) Optimism, School administrators are confident in themselves. recognize one's own abilities have positive expectations and have a good style of describing events and 5) Participation, school administrators must have common goals with their subordinates to allow stakeholders to participate in planning and decision making. participate in the operation take part in the evaluation and give freedom to work. The results of the confirmation of the overall main components found that having a visionaty, trust and participation is appropriate and the most likely level followed by enthusiasm and optimism
