Strategic Management in the Digital Age towards Excellence in Academic Administration of Schools under the Prachuap Khiri Khan Primary Educational Service Area District Office

Abstract

The objectives of this article were 1) to study strategic management in the digital age toward excellence in academic administration 2) to study the scope of academic administration 3) to study the relationship between strategic management in the digital age towards excellence in academic administration and academic administration framework, and 4) to study the strategic management approach in the digital age towards excellence in the academic administration of schools under the Prachuap Khiri Khan Primary Educational Service Area District Office.

This research was mixed-method research. The sample group was 284 teachers in the academic year 2021. The tools were structured interviews, questionnaires, and appropriate assessments. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing with Pearson's correlation coefficient.

The results showed that

1. Strategic management in the digital age towards excellence in academic management (overall and individual aspects) was at a high level.


2. The scope of academic administration (overall and individual aspects) was at a high level.


3. The relationship between strategic management in the digital era towards excellence in academic administration and the scope of academic administration had a statistically high correlation at the .01 level in the same direction.


4. The approach of strategic management in the digital era towards excellence in academic management as a whole was at a very appropriate level: corporate environment analysis and strategic analysis, formulation and creation of academic management strategies in the digital age of organizations toward excellence, strategy implementation, and strategic evaluation and control. This research knowledge was useful for the development of academic administration toward excellence.
