White Cooperative with Good governance for making the confident in Cooperative System in Next Normal Era

Abstract

The objective of this academic paper was to present the results of a conceptual review of cooperative governance and white cooperatives policy with good governance. It presented the beginnings of cooperative establishment, its meaning, and the importance of good governance in the management of cooperatives. The results of the review found that a cooperative was an organization in which individuals voluntarily join together to run jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprises to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs, needs, and hopes. Whereas good governance referred to the administration of civil and social affairs, which was first enacted in 1989 and was launched in Thailand in 1997. White cooperatives were policies that emphasize good governance in connection with cooperative operations, driven by cooperative members, staff, and related personnel. In this regard, the relevant good governance principles were applied to strengthen and integrity of government organizations, especially in situations where audits were ineffective due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. In addition to good management, cooperative affairs according to the white cooperative policy could effectively build the image and confidence in the cooperative system in the next normal.
