The professional characteristics of School administrators under The Jurisdiction of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Education

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) To study the professional management characteristics of school adminnistrators, 2) To compare the professional management characteristics of school adminnistrators classified by school size. The sample included 330 teachers. The research tool was a 50 items of 5 level-scale type questionnaire with IOC between .67-1.00, the item discrimination values between .20-.63,and the total reliability of .94. The statistics were Percentage,Mean,Standard Division, and One Way ANOVA: F-test to compare the opinions of teachers towards the professional characteristics of school administrators classified by school size. Cheffe was used to identify pair differences found.
The research findings were as follow:
1. The professional characteristics of school administrators, both as whole and individual aspects were at the most level, ranking from the highest to the lowest as 1) Morality, 2) System Management, 3) Society 4) Academic Aspect respectively and 6) Self-Management on Management.
2. The comparison of professional characteristics of school administrators according to teachers’ opinions classified by school size as a whole found statistically significant difference, but in individual aspects found that there were statistically different at .05 level of significance in five aspects on 1) Morality 2) System Management 3) Academic Aspect,respectively 4) Management and 5) Society and Community, while other 1 aspects were not different on Self-Management on Management.
