A Study of The Administrator’s Transformational Leadership Affecting the Teacher’s Teamwork Efficiency of Schools in Nam Yuen District, Under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5

Abstract

The purposes of this research were as follows: 1) To Study the transformational leadership level of school administrators in Nam Yuen District under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5 2) To study the level of teamwork efficiency of school teachers. 3) To study the relationship between transformational leadership of administrators and teamwork efficiency of school teachers and  4) to study the transformational leadership of the administrators that affecting the teamwork efficiency of school teachers. The samples were school administrators and school teachers in Nam Yuen District under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5. The samples were determined according to the finished schedule of Krejcie and Morgan of 209 people.The randomization was stratified according to the position and school size, classified into 32 school administrators and 177 teachers. The research tool was a questionnaire for the opinions of administrators and teachers on transformational leadership affecting the teamwork efficiency of School Teachers. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation. Simple relationship analysis using the Pearson correlation formula, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Research findings were as follows:

1.  The transformational leadership level of school administrators , overall, it was at a high level.


2. The teamwork efficiency of school teachers , overall, it was at a high level.


3. The relationship between transformational leadership of administrators and teamwork efficiency of school teachers , the analysis of the relationship level The Pearson correlation coefficient found that all aspects were positively correlated with statistical significance at the .01 level.


4. Transformational leadership of administrators that affecting the teamwork efficiency school teachers , the method was used to analyze stepwise multiple regressions. It was found that there were the administrator’s transformational leadership factors that predicted the teamwork efficiency of school teachers in Nam Yuen District, under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, all 2 aspects were able to perform well in predicting criterion variables , accounted for 31.9 percent , consisting of individual consideration and Inspirational Motivation, respectively.
