University Management Towards Excellence of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) analyze the factors of university management for excellence of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, 2) develop a model of university management for excellence, and 3) evaluate a model of university management for excellence. This research uses mix-method research by using related documents, an interview 9 experts, and questionnaire results from 285 participants. The statistics employed was content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and exploratory factors analysis.
The research findings were as follows: 1.The analysis the factors of administration for excellence of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin comprised 7 factors were as follows: Leadership, Excellence in Performance, Human Resource Management, Organizational Culture, Knowledge Management, Systems Perspective, Visionary Leadership, Student- and customer-Centered Excellence, Valuing People, Organizational Learning and Agility, Focus on Success, Managing for Innovation, Management by Fact, Societal Contributions, Ethics and Transparency and Delivering Value and Results 2.) The model of university management for excellence of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin comprised 2 parts: 1) principle, 2) content which consisted of university management for excellence of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. 3.) The evaluation of a model of university management for excellence in the aspects of the correctness, the suitability, thefeasibility, and the utility were at the highest level
