Quality of life of residents in Songkhla municipality, Songkhla province

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) study the level of quality of life of residents in Songkhla Municipality, Songkhla Province, and 2) compare the quality of life of residents in Songkhla Municipality, Songkhla Province, based on personal factors affecting the quality of life of residents in Songkhla Municipality, Songkhla Province. The sample group based on personal factors affecting the quality of life of 400 residents from Songkhla Municipality, and data were collected between August 15 and October 21, 2024, using a random sampling method. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean ((), standard deviation (SD), and one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA). The findings showed that no significant differences were found in quality of life based on personal factors such as gender, age, educational level, occupation, monthly income, and place of residence. Overall, the quality of life of residents in Songkhla Municipality, Songkhla Province, was at a good level ((=3.78). When categorized by aspects, it was found that the social relationships had the highest quality of life score, followed by mental well-being, environmental factors, and physical health, respectively. The research suggests that Songkhla Municipality should promote and support relevant agencies in continuously organizing activities that foster mental well-being and community mental health.
