THE SATISFACTION OF THE PEOPLE TOWARDS THE USE OF THE NEW STADIUM OF SONGKHLA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to examine the level of satisfaction of the people who use the new stadium of Songkhla Rajabhat University and to compare the level of satisfaction of the people who use the new stadium classified by gender, age, education level, occupation, frequency of use and type of personnel. The samples were personnel both inside and outside Songkhla Rajabhat University. As the exact population does not appear, the researchers calculated the sample size from the Cochran's formula at the confidence level of 95 percent and the error of 5 percent. A sample of 400 people was selected by accidental sampling. The instrument utilized was five - point Likert scale with 35 items. The reliability of the whole questionnaire was .91. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t - test, One-Way ANOVA and Scheffe's paired comparison.

The results revealed that; 1) The level of the considerable satisfaction of the people towards the use of the new stadium, in overall, was typically at a high level (mean = 3.99, S.D. = 0.40). When considered in each point, it was appeared that the people's satisfaction in terms of specific needs was at the highest level (mean = 4.22, S.D. = 0.40), followed by places (mean = 3.89, S.D. = 0.58) and services (mean = 3.87, S.D. = 0.55) respectively.
2) The comparison of the level of the satisfaction of individuals classified by gender and age, found that there are statistically significant differences at .05 level, but when classified by education, occupation, frequency of use and the type of personnel, found that there is no significant difference at .05 level.
