Abstract
The research titled “Guidelines for Strengthening Relationships Between Youth and the Community in Accordance with Islamic Practices in Kanga Village, Sano Subdistrict, Yarang District, Pattani Province” aimed to (1) investigate the problems and factors contributing to the decline in relationships between youth and the community within the Islamic context, and (2) explore approaches for strengthening these relationships in accordance with Islamic principles in Kanga Village, Sano Subdistrict, Yarang District, Pattani Province. This qualitative study employed document analysis and in-depth interviews with four groups of community leaders —religious leaders, community leaders, natural leaders, and youth leaders —each with three participants, for a total of 12 participants. The findings indicated that the key factors contributing to the weakening of youth-community relationships included a lack of self-discipline, the spread of drug abuse, political conflicts, differing perspectives on education, and inconsistent attitudes. The proposed guidelines for strengthening relationships in line with Islamic practices included: (1) organizing activities that promote religious knowledge and foster community engagement, (2) developing leaders with moral integrity and exemplary conduct, and (3) enhancing family and community relationships through sports and religious education activities.
