The monument was built to honor Nai Khanom Tom, a legendary Thai boxer who defeated Burmese and Mon fighters, and who was later praised and rewarded by King Angwa of Burma.

Beyond commemorating a historical hero, the monument also serves as a sacred site believed to bestow blessings and provide assistance to those who worship or make vows. The study found that believers seek blessings for success in business, athletic competitions, and entrance examinations. Although Nai Khanom Tom is primarily revered as a Muay Thai teacher, his sacred role extends into other areas not directly associated with his legacy, making him more versatile than other sacred figures who are believed to grant blessings only within their domain.

Additionally, beliefs surrounding offerings reflect symbolic and cultural connections. Worshippers often choose items based on Nai Khanom Tom’s name—such as the Thai dessert “khanom tom” and various boiled foods—as well as offerings that reflect traditional male lifestyles, such as white liquor and fighting rooster statues. Other offerings, such as marigold garlands, jasmine garlands, betel nut with piper betle leaves, and red soft drinks, are selected based on popular worship practices.
2025-06-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/husoarujournal/article/view/284587 The Role of Thai Traditional Massage from Wat Pho: A Literature Review and Development Guidelines for Healthcare 2025-02-27T10:16:24+07:00 Thanainan yonwong sathapon.yonwong@gmail.com
This research aims to review the literature on Wat Pho Thai massage, a traditional practice recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The study draws on various sources related to Wat Pho Thai massage, focusing on its therapeutic applications, stimulation of the Sen Sib Line, body balance adjustment, and health promotion based on Thai traditional medicine principles. It also examines massage techniques, pressure application, muscle stretching, and the use of herbs to enhance therapeutic effects.

The review found that Wat Pho Thai massage effectively relieves pain, increases muscle flexibility, and stimulates blood circulation, making it suitable for alleviating muscle aches, back pain, and headaches. Additionally, it aids in stress reduction and mental health improvement through relaxation achieved by pressure and stretching techniques. The findings suggest that this massage offers a natural, drug-free alternative treatment, aligning with the growing trend toward natural health care practices.

Furthermore, the research presents recommendations for developing training curricula to meet international standards and supports further experimental studies to confirm the therapeutic efficacy of Wat Pho Thai massage for health and well-being, ensuring its value is preserved and passed on to future generations.
2025-06-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/husoarujournal/article/view/283473 The Role of Companies Listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand in Preventing Corruption. 2025-01-15T12:54:01+07:00 Solossaya Jeebsuwan solossaya@gmail.com Rattaphong Sonsuphap rattsonsuphap@gmail.com
This research aims to study the measures and analyze case studies of corruption involving companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), as well as to propose appropriate approaches to prevent such corruption. A qualitative research methodology was employed, including document analysis and in-depth interviews with key informants from eight SET-listed companies and related parties, alongside seven case studies.

The research findings indicate that the principles of corporate governance among SET-listed companies remain insufficiently effective in preventing corruption, even under the supervision of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the SET. Loopholes and weaknesses in existing measures, guidelines, and the broader ecosystem still allow opportunities for misconduct. This is illustrated in the first case, where four companies exploited legal loopholes to manipulate stock prices. In the second case, three companies were found to have engaged in accounting fraud, resulting in widespread societal impact and a loss of confidence among both domestic and international investors in the Thai stock market.
2025-06-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/husoarujournal/article/view/284455 Multimedia Development on Chiffon Cake Making in the Popular Pastry Course for Short-Term Vocational Students at Si Phraya Polytechnic College 2025-01-27T14:04:13+07:00 Chitpicha Kaentubtum chitpicha-k@rmutp.ac.th CHUTAMAS PEERAPHATCHARA chutamas.p@rmutp.ac.th NOMJIT SUTEEBUT nomjit.s@rmutp.ac.th
This study aimed to: 1) develop a multimedia learning material on chiffon cake baking, and 2) evaluate the effectiveness of the developed material. Data were analyzed using percentages, means, and standard deviations.

The results indicated that, overall, communication problems in English among the service providers were at a high level. The most significant issue was difficulty understanding similar-sounding words with different meanings (mean = 3.98), followed by incorrect English grammar usage in speaking (mean = 3.96), and a lack of confidence in speaking English (mean = 3.94).

Regarding solutions, practicing conversations with foreign tourists at tourist sites was rated as the most effective approach (mean = 4.30). Other effective solutions included listening to English accents through movies, international music, and other media (mean = 4.16), and studying tourism knowledge via books or online media (mean = 4.14).
2025-06-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/husoarujournal/article/view/284594 An analytical study of musical literature on the prosperity of Ayodhya 2025-01-29T15:28:07+07:00 Rujipas Phudhanun-naruepat musika_7xmba@hotmail.com
Musical literature is a cultural heritage that connects stories of cultural prosperity with the passage of time in each era. It reflects the flourishing period of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. This research aims to study the musical literature of the Ayutthaya period that remains popular today. It also analyzes the musical structure, sound system, and composition techniques of these songs.

Beyond inspiration, the study emphasizes the knowledge that contributed to the success of these musical works, which played significant roles in society, culture, traditions, and rituals throughout different eras. Understanding this knowledge is essential for developing creative works through techniques, methods, or integrating innovative musical concepts. Such works must be grounded in their foundational knowledge to achieve their intended objectives and communicate the meaning behind their creation—expressed through elements such as subject matter, tonal expression, linguistic style, architecture, sculpture, and important local sites. These elements collectively guide the creation and arrangement of musical compositions, requiring a holistic and integrated approach.
2025-06-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University
