Policy Network: Definition, Social Network Analysis, and Case Studies

Abstract
The purposes of this paper were to explain 1) the meaning of network analysis networks and 2) three case studies to illustrate the link between network analysis and network administration. The results of the analysis revealed that 1) Network was a form of coordination of individuals, groups, or organizations in which different parties have resources. 2) The results of the analysis of public policy networks with 3 case studies, namely the four-region slum network, the Don Chimplee model network, and a social network of Lao migrant women workers, It was found that the size of social groups was determined by the number of members and collective communication on public policy issues in all three case studies. A structured working relationship between members of the network was organized, which focused on equal participation and authority in the process, and a common framework is established. Therefore, in order to successfully manage the network, the government-private partnership management model should be adopted.
